Studying with a disability, dyslexia or chronic illness

Something for you?
A disability or chronic illness can hinder studying, making studying more difficult and costing more time and energy. Sometimes this is clearly visible (someone is blind or drives in a wheelchair), but often the disability is not noticeable, for example in the case of dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, autism or a mental illness.
If you have a support question for following education or taking exams, the UvA would be happy to help you with this. Depending on your disability, the UvA offers various options for support in following education and taking exams to help you study as pleasantly as possible.
In the information, the student cousellor, study advisor and UvA IDEAs will tell you how best to arrange these practical matters.
